FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a TrackMan golf simulator?
A TrackMan golf simulator combines advanced radar and camera technology to measure your golf shots and recreate their flight indoors. It gives you accurate ball and club data, instant feedback and access to more than 500 virtual golf courses around the world.
Can I use the TrackMan golf simulators just for practice?
Absolutely. Our TrackMan bays are designed for serious indoor golf practice as well as lessons and virtual golf. Work on your swing, distances, wedges, shot shape, dispersion or speed while seeing ball data, club data and instant multi-angle swing video after every shot.
Is practising on a golf simulator better than a driving range?
For focused practice, TrackMan gives you much more measurable feedback than simply hitting balls at a traditional range. You can see your exact carry, spin, club delivery, dispersion and swing video in a consistent indoor environment, whatever the weather. Think of it as an indoor driving range designed around purposeful improvement.
How accurate is TrackMan?
TrackMan is one of golf's leading launch-monitor technologies and combines radar and camera tracking to measure ball and club movement. The technology is used throughout elite professional golf, allowing you to practise indoors with highly detailed feedback that relates directly to your game on the course.
What golf data does TrackMan show?
TrackMan can measure more than 40 parameters, including ball speed, club speed, carry distance, launch angle, spin rate, attack angle, club path, height and dispersion. Our bays also include swing cameras, giving you both the numbers and visual feedback from every shot.
Can I play full golf courses on the TrackMan simulators?
Yes. TrackMan Virtual Golf gives you access to more than 500 golf courses from around the world. You can practise on the virtual range, play full rounds, take on skills challenges or compete against friends without worrying about daylight or the British weather.
What is included with an indoor golf membership at My Golf Matters?
Membership includes regular TrackMan simulator sessions, discounted additional practice time, unlimited use of our putting studio, member guest rates, competitions, our booking app and access to our clubhouse and co-working area. It is designed to give you somewhere to work on your game consistently throughout the year.
Why should I choose My Golf Matters over other indoor golf facilities?
My Golf Matters was built around improving golfers, not simply providing somewhere to hit balls indoors. We have five resident PGA-qualified coaches, clubhouse hosts who help members understand and get more from TrackMan, six simulator bays with swing cameras and an advanced putting studio with unlimited member access. You become part of a community focused on getting better at every part of the game — not just hiding from the rain.
Can I practise golf indoors throughout the winter?
Yes. Our indoor golf facility is open all year, giving you a consistent environment for practice regardless of rain, cold, wind or early winter darkness. You can keep working on your swing and distances throughout the winter instead of starting again when the weather improves.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes. Members can bring guests with them; the guest rate is £15 per person, per hour. Under 16's are FREE.
Please note members guests must be accompanied by the member at all times, using the same simulator bay and under 16's accompanied by an adult.
